SMS consent options

Responder AI may send text messages related to appointment scheduling, follow-up communication, customer support, and service updates. Promotional or recurring marketing text messages are sent only to users who have expressly opted in.

Users may opt in by completing a website form and checking the SMS consent box, or by requesting text communication during a live call or intake conversation for applicable service-related follow-up.

Verbal opt-in workflow

During a live phone call, a Responder AI representative may ask whether the customer would like to receive service-related text messages for follow-up, scheduling, or account assistance. The representative explains that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and that the customer can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

If the customer agrees, Responder AI sends a confirmation text and records the consent method, timestamp, phone number, and staff member or workflow that collected consent. Promotional or recurring marketing messages are sent only after written consent through the website form.
